Vishal Dixit
Vishal was a General Partner at Mayfield Fund, a Silicon Valley based early-stage US$3 billion VC fund. He has been an Investor / Board Member at 18 companies across life-sciences, medical devices, digital health, consumer internet, adtech and enterprise software. He now leads commercial and strategy at TARA.
By training, he has an MA in Mathematical Economics, an MBA from Stanford University, and was designated as a Fulbright Scholar (declined).

Shashwat Gopal
Shashwat Gopal started his career as a space systems engineer at the Institute of Space Systems at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Subsequently, he founded and exited Brings, a consumer tech company. As Co-founder, he heads technology and operations at TARA.
By training, he is a B.Tech. from IIT Bombay and Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst Scholar at University of Stuttgart.

Monica Go
Monica Go is Director of Product Development at TARA, specializing in psychosocial science and design. She is an expert in psychosocial and behavioral health and previously worked with the Government of Singapore.
Monica holds a B.Psych and M.Psych from James Cook University.

Dr. Thomas Nelson
Dr. Thomas Nelson is a Scientific Advisor at TARA, specializing in A.I. in medicine. He is a physician-scientist at UC San Francisco (UCSF) and previously worked at Dana Farber Institute and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on developing AI algorithms for novel brain Tumor Therapeutics.
Before entering medicine, Dr. Nelson worked as a software developer. His unique background in electrical engineering and software development informs his current work at the intersection of medicine and technology. Dr. Nelson holds a B.Tech and MD from Harvard.

Dr. Nancy Haff
Dr. Nancy Haff is a Scientific Advisor at TARA, specializing in pharmacoepidemiology. She is a physician-scientist at Harvard Medical School and a leading expert in pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology.
Her research focuses on the implementation of evidence based practices for the prevention and management of cardiometabolic disease in primary care, clinical events, medication adherence, and health behavior change. Dr. Haff holds a B.Psych, MD, and MPH from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Julie Lauffenburger is a Scientific Advisor at TARA, specializing in pharmacoepidemiology. She is a physician-scientist at Harvard Medical School and lead investigator at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Her work bridges clinical pharmacy practice with implementation science to improve medication adherence and healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Lauffenburger holds a PharmD and PhD from UNC.
